Drawing For Joy on Fridays 🌸
Adult Class. Ready to Draw for Joy? Let’s Begin!
Service Description
Yes, we’ll definitely learn new skills and refine existing ones, but most importantly, we will unlock a deeper connection to the creative process itself. My classes are a bit different—I incorporate brain-based techniques designed to cultivate well-being and inner peace to more traditional drawing techniques, giving students a more rounded experience as we will work on ‘projects’ that are deeply meaningful to you. For me, art has always been about unveiling my inner world and responding to inspiration with openness and joy, and that’s what we will be doing. We will learn, develop, and most importantly, enjoy the creative process and each other’s company. If this resonates with you, I would love for you to join me. Looking forward to creating alongside you! Much love, Steph.x 🌸

Cancellation Policy
Once booked classes are non-refundable. Full payment is required to guarantee a place. Make sure you have read the class description bellow and that it is a good fit for you and the student. These classes are designed to be a little different from what you might expect, so I want to give you all the information upfront to ensure it’s the right fit for you or your child. My classes go beyond traditional art instruction to foster emotional health and wellbeing. Using visual arts as a vehicle, I focus on helping my students explore their inner and outer worlds, processing feelings and experiences that they may not always express with words. Each class will include mindfulness techniques, breath work, and role-playing exercises, all integrated with creative art activities. What makes my classes unique: Art as a Tool for Emotional Expression: They’ll encourage students to explore and express their emotions through art, helping them process their inner world in a creative, safe environment. Mindfulness & Breath Work: Each session includes mindfulness and breathing exercises to help develop emotional regulation and calm their minds. No Digital Tools: I intentionally avoid the use of digital art tools in my classes. Instead, I focus on fostering sensory stimulation and kinetic memory by encouraging us to work with their hands, feel different materials, and physically engage with their art. In a world where we are already exposed to so much digital technology, this creates a refreshing balance and supports holistic development. We may access a screen for research purposes. Small, Cohesive Group: I only take a few students per group to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment. This allows me to get to know each person individually and tailor my teaching to their unique needs. It also creates a safe space for new friendships to blossom. Role-Playing & Imagination: Imaginative role-playing will help us explore different emotions and experiences, fostering empathy and emotional understanding that will be channeled through art making. Non-Competitive Environment: There’s no pressure for perfection here. I celebrate creativity and self-expression in all its forms.
